Athena's most defining feature is probably her willingness to do anything, and I do mean anything if she believes it will keep her family alive and well! She was willing to stand her ground against Blutwald, swallow her pride before Fellfang, and is currently in the process of upending heaven and earth in the search for Merrill. In general she's a social, good-humoured sort - but if you want to see Athena activate Liam Neeson mode all you need to do is threaten her family.

The loss of Old Aryn was a crippling blow to Athena, and for many years she believed it was her duty to live the rest of her life alone and miserable as punishment for leading the pack to it's doom. But she has found a new purpose, and a new hope, in her family with Alcatraz and the rebirth of Aryn here in the Domain. Her life belongs utterly to the pack.
