Unholy Union

The scent of a mule deer led Nadina through thickly wooded terain. Ducking under brush, weaving through trees and tall grass, Nadina focused as hard as she could on the task at hand. Times were plentiful in Havir during the summer, but the pack's hunters were still greatly needed. Nadina though of Malika's pups. Their mother couldn't hunt these days and her mate--wasn't able to help her. Perhaps Nadina could bring a leg to her.
Suddenly the stormy silver she-wolf was out into the open. Momentarily looking up from the trail, she caught sight of the moon, which was an unusual and somewhat eerie yellow-gold, glaring down at her like an angry eye. A shiver went down her spine. Before she could look down she was shocked to see rapidly forming clouds crowding the sky in the distance. She'd never seen clouds move that quickly.

Nadina lay still for several minutes after the dark god had left. She had barely had time to process what was happening when he had straddled her, and now it was done. She was so confused! One moment he was accusing her of harboring his enemies, the next they were...they were...
She looked up at Ademache's moon, quivering. He had called her his "chosen one". Did that mean she was to birth demigods? The thought astounded her. Of all the Havirian she-wolves, why her? She had only been a part of a pack for less than a year! The others were far more deserving than she! She could never have imagined this would be how she would be broken in, however. With a god! Even the most wrathful of the pack's gods, it didn't matter! she was both honored and terrified. What if she DID become pregnant? He had sworn her to secrecy--she would surely be questioned, but what could she say?

Under the guise of a god - and a god none other than Adetunji himself - Janus of Vektren has committed an atrocity against Nadina of Havir. 
The huntress has since learned the truth of her consort's identity, but her sacrifices and prayers were not enough to take the burden from her, and Nadina finds herself expecting a litter.
Infidelity alone is grounds for punishment in Havir - but to admit that she is carrying the offspring of so blasphemous a heathen would put a black mark on her and her pup's future. They would be outcasts from birth. 
Janus does not know of his unborn children, and his whereabouts remain (thankfully) unknown to Nadina. But she is determined to care for these pups despite their father and the challenges bringing up an unsanctioned litter in Havir will entail.

This is where you! Yes, you! come in! 
Frosty and I are looking for 1-2 pups from this litter, which we are placing up for open adoption!
Whether these pup(s) stay with their mother or eventually learn the truth about their father and seek him out is entirely up to you! It's an exciting plot with lots of potential! ovo

Rules:
1. You must be a member of DotW!
2. You may choose the name and gender! However, the name must be of Latin, Greek, Hebrew, or Arabic origin (i.e. Nadina, Janus)
3. You must have the amount of bones necessary to purchase a new character by September 21st
4. You are encouraged to use one of the above designs, but you may also design your own!
5. If you or your character falls inactive before the pups' juvenile deadline, we ( WynBird and FrostedCanid ) will reclaim them and award the pup to someone else. This is the only circumstance under which we will take the character back - once the puppy officially reaches juvenile age, they're all yours!

How to Adopt:
1. Please comment below if you are interested so we can add your name to the list! 
2. Write a full bio for the character as described in this journal!
3. Draw the character in your style. Please DO NOT put the puppy on an application sheet - you may use any other art/colour/pattern as a background!
4. Comment below with a link to your application by 11:59 EST on September 17th. The winner of the pup will be announced by September 20th and the pups will be born September 21st

 We will be judging applications based on originality, how active you are with all your characters in DotW, 
and the effort put into both your application and everything else you do for the group.
